To inject some enjoyment into this dour thread, let me here present a
pleasant song related to the matters discussed within this thread.
The song is performed by the Slovenian band Laibach. The song was
originally composed by the Slovenian band Siddharta. Laibach has
translated the lyrics of the song into English, and the manner in
which Laibach performs the song make it essentially a new composition,
as, musically, it is quite different from the original.
So for your listening pleasure, below is presented this song. As I
previously indicated, this song very much relates to the matters
discussed in this thread. Pay especial attention to the lyrics.
At the below link is contained this song as part of a fan video (i.e.,
non-official). So for that reason, don't necessarily take to heart the
images contained in the below, as they are merely one fan's
interpretation (albeit an accomplished person who has done
videographic work for a number of major television and cable outlets).
The imagery at the conclusion of the video, I think, should have been
more uplifting, in conformance with the lyrics. But no matter.
I consider the lyrics combined with the music of this song to be quite
spiritual.

I have read some fans of Siddharta on forums discussing what they
think "B-Mashina" stands for. The lyrics obviously imply a living
machine: i.e., "Wild B-machine that never stops." From this, along
with the thrust of the entire song, I say that B-machine stands for
bio-machine, and further, that bio-machine itself is a metaphor for
existence itself. For indeed, existence itself is a biological machine
that never stops. Wild at that, for it existed before mankind came
along.
Siddharta, in a round-about way, supports my view on this, as they
give a small commentary on their video for their own version of the
song:

It shows the eternal battle between good and evil but presented in a
rather unusual way. A doctor--also a leading criminal--has a clash of
motives. In the end the good overcomes the evil.
""
But that's what the lyrics of the song, and indeed what the Omega
Point Theory (along with all truth-based religion), tells us cannot
avoid happening. But also contained within the lyrics is the idea that
some will not make it, due to their own choices (sad, I know).
Laibach, I consider, reinterprets the musical imagery of this song
(not to be confused with the fan video, but rather the mental imagery
which the music itself invokes) and presents it in a much more
powerful manner than the original music.
Siddharta's own official video for this song I regard to be out of
step with the lyrics, since it's done in the style of so many
"alternative rock" videos, and seemingly consciously so. Perhaps the
director of it had a big hand in this.
At any rate, the Laibach version in English is the inception of this
song which I present here. Moreover, I have often thought that artists
can exceed even what they had in mind when truly inspired, i.e., that
they can go beyond themselves, i.e., that veridical meaning can be
imbued in a work which they themselves may not realize--whether
stemming from the subconscious, or, as I have it (as pertains to some
cases), an even deeper source.
Such, I regard, is the case with Laibach's rendition of this song. Or
perhaps Siddharta and Laibach were aware of the Omega Point Theory. Or
perhaps they intuitively grasped the meaning of the ancient teachers
of veridical spiritual knowledge (of which my sentence here is simply
a restatement of the former paragraph).
