Step 1

will alert the people at the store if you have a felony conviction. In
Texas, you may possess a firearm on the premises where you live after
5 years have elapsed since your prison or parole term has ended. They
use whichever term is later.
Step 4
Buy your gun from the dealer. There is no waiting period in Texas.
Once you have passed the FBI NICS background check or have received
your CHL (if required) you can walk out of the store that day with
your gun. Congratulations, you just learned how to buy a gun in Texas.

Military posts here in the United States practice strict gun control.

company armories until being checked out either for use at the range or
for particular duty reasons. That also applies to personally owned
weapons. The only folks normally with guns are guarding the gate to the
base or are MPs.
You have to remember that most in here are chickenhawks. They didn't
have the balls to serve their country. They have no idea who the
military works in garrison.
I volunteered and they rejected me simply because I spoke the truth.
There is no freedom of speech in the USA. It is all religious

Really now, will they? What is surprisingly disappointing is that
this guy worked day-in & day-out with Mental Health Professionals and
nobody picked up on he was a problem waiting to happen.
The other point was how did he develop PTSD having never served in any
theater of war. He was afraid of going and having to fight other Muslims
not from something that developed over there.
