An international virtual circle for self-education is to be created.

Program: history of the international communist movement, the
international left, the socialist movement today. Other topics
proposed by participants will be discussed.

How is this different from "newsgroups"? In one way important way:
there is to be no "white noise". Look at the existing newsgroups, like
alt.politics.communism or alt.politics.socialism or
alt.politics.socialism.trotsky.

1) They are full topics totally irrelevant or simply opposite in
meaning to what the conferences proclaim as their title. E.g. on
November 2, 2009 we get an article with this title: "Multiculturalism
Lays Seeds For Future Conflict". This is obviously a racist article.

2) Topics relevant to history and the present day of the revolutionary
movement are absent. Instead, we read petty personal attacks upon
individuals living in the North America, Australia, etc. There are no
people, participants from semi-colonial countries, or Third World
countries.

Hence, there is a need for a new self-education international group
for socialists, communists, revolutionaries.

The format for such a circle is open. But it definitely should not be
a newsgroup controlled by Yahoo, or a similar server. One possible
format which we seem to successfully implement here, in the former
USSR, is a left Internet-radio. The regular broadcasts, with a
possibility of real-time discussion about the program, would be a
modern equivalent of a session of a study group. During such a
podcast, different people can prepare presentations on different
relevant topics. A "DJ" collects these presentations (in MP3 format)
and broadcasts them.
