Tea baggers, racist and neo-Birchers are trying to drive the Republican
Party, once the proud party of Lincoln, into the ground. And they're
succeeding. In NY 23, one of the most reliable Republican seats in the House
of Representatives, the uber right wing nut faction of the party drove out
the only chance for a Republican victory, Dede Scozzafava, one of the rare
Republicans these days in that she's not a far right superstitious idiot.
Just how reliable was NY 23 for the Republicans? Not since the Civil War,
sorry, goobers, the, um, war of northern aggression <snort>, has a Democrat
served NY 23.
