Since the Pentagon has conquered Stealth technology, perhaps its time
to turn attention to the opposite--how to get various everyday objects
to have high radiometric reflectivity ("Thumping" technology). This
can be useful in making the common Taliban footsoldier appear on
standard detection hardware at night, in inclement weather and while
dug in. Textiles, the film left by bath soap, gun oil and other
staples come to mind. |
