We have to separate again from the anarchists, and also all
the ignorant "activists" that commit violence. It doesn't
matter whether the violence is provoked by state agents.

The anarchists are essentially capitalists, they have no
real ideology and if you listen closely you hear capitalists
speaking. Everything must be allowed, trade in anything you
like, and please don't worry about the bigger picture. Please
don't set up a democratic state, please don't maintain order.

In the main the anarchists are puber, adolescent, and not
very smart (to say the least). They will act out agressively
when they should not, they will do nothing when they should.
They have no discipline. They will mess up a perfectly good
demonstration, but you watch: when it is needed to really do
something, blockade something, smuggle food to some place
(only in case the state crashes down on all), then you'll
find the anarchists having joined the ranks of the mercinaries
doing the work for the state in return for goodies.

Anyway, they got no discipline, they do not love peace enough,
they destroy the public platform for the social forces.

I propose these signs: "respect the law and the police" and
"those who do not behave decently, do not belong to us."

We have to do all we can to separate from the anarchists.
This can also mean wearing nice clothing, because for some
reason anarchists like to dress like front line soldiers who
have fought 15 days in a trench war - even though there isn't
any war in sight and they usually haven't ever been in a war.
It is part of their fashion statement, they got all the money
they need to wear nice clothing. It is a pretence for them.
One might say: they already dress for the kind of misery they
hope to create in the world, a world where people do not even
have the capacity to clothe themselves properly.

We have to get far far away from these anarchists.

Some more idealistic "anarchists" might still be convinced
to join the social struggle in a positive way - that would
be great. (Even their `A' symbol, it is wrong, a symbol of
power hierarchy, a pyramid - but I guess they don't know how
to read symbols, either; but nice how it betrays them.)

Anarchists: quit your useless violence. If you are destroying
state property, you are destroying our property, because after
we the people take power, it will be ours (yours too). Secondly
you are destroying any credibility, and doing the wishes of the
actual criminals who want to use violence to discredit social
pressure (an old game, very old, thousands of years old; don't
be the tool for it, knowing or unknowing!).

regards, love peace, love the word over throwing stones.

50 people, sorry. I had changed that after I had decided not to
change the basic text of the system anymore (stability of theory,
with improvements/corrections like ammendments). 50 persons is
much better then 100, easier to set up.

So, what are you all going to *do* ? Sit some more on your hands
and do nothing ? Or study reality and do something about the problems.
It was never easier, because all you have to do is verify and ratify
my proposal (ammend where you want) and then we can do it.

On my site you can get some limited webspace for a DAVID sister party
http://www.socialism.nl/party/COUNTRY/YOURPARTY

Maybe you don't take this serious. But I did write that software, it
does work, it was published about in Linux Magazine (Brave GNU world.)
I did test that with the D66 political party in Holland, and it did
work to satisfaction. But that party is corrupt, their whole stated
reason for being is to implement direct democracy, internally within
themselves, and Referendum law in the nation. Their members voted in
their Congress - which formally has power - to develop this initiative
(for which my program was the primary software candidate, namely better
and cheaper then the alternative developed by some universities at
a cost of 4 million (!)). The top of D66 said the members should reject
that `motion,' but they pretty much (or completely, don't remember)
unanimously agreed to it. Then, unfortunately, responsibility for
the execution of that motion fell back to the party top, and nothing
has happened.

So I guess you could really say that I already tried to go through
the honorable gate of Dutch party politics, but the door was closed
by top people who betrayed their stated principles and their members.

This time I want to set up parties, a swarm of parties that look at
each other and never unite, so that the corrupt ones drop out and
get called by the sisters. So this swarm, like say 10 DAVID sister
parties, all independent, they swarm together to the goals, nothing
can stop that. They are internally all about protocol, it are protocol
parties. The protocol rules. Right from the start with the first member,
it must be about protocol. Not about people but protocol. That may
sound harsh and so on, but if it is "all about people," then it will
be all about cliqueish behavior. Protocol is clean and strict. Within
that framework then hopefully there develops the strength to stand up,
using the protocol as a weapon, against internal corruption, and force
the will of the party majority unto whomever is elected.

That whole system eventually also becomes the state system, but as
you can see: if you start with 10 DAVID parties then you still only
get 1 state. And so the party cliqueishness that probably would
develop to some degree: it does not transfer very precisely to the
state either. Because there'd be 10 parties and only 1 state. This
hopefully leaves room for all the people, organized and not, to
participate well and prevent corruption and also initial corruption.
Initial critical damage to the laws, in order to foster long term
corruption. Long term it should be OK as long as the laws are honored.

The first order of business of these political parties - at least in
Holland - is to pass as law the Referendum part of the Constitution
(3.1.b). Interestingly enough, maybe, that is the same steps as the
D66 party was originally formed to accomplish. Difference here is that
it is only the first step, a tool to accomplish the greater things
like especially correcting the economy. That is the major goal, and
once it's done it is done and the end of the action. So it is a goal
that can be achieved. Then, in case the Constitution proposal takes
over, political parties also won't be relevant anymore, or would have
a marginal relatively informal field of activity (like civil activity
not required by any law, which is unlike the present election system
which depends on parties).

You can of course choose another number for the voter-groups. Maybe
you like 30, maybe you like 80, maybe you like 800. But the bigger
you make them, the less power the individual voters will have in
them. The less it will be a people's Government that real people
actually are having a say in all the time (local, area, national).
If you make the voter groups very small, you run the risk that
a) you get more and more delegates, and b) the smallest units won't
be taken very serious anymore because they are so small. It won't
have a certain "massiveness". Secondly you can get cliqueishness
inside the smallest units, because they are so small they can
easily comprise a grouplet of people that know each other very
well already. This can then lead to some kind of "struggle between
the voter groups." By making the voter groups a bit bigger, a bit
more unwieldy, it is a bit harder to get things passed in them,
so it will probably make them more serious an considderate.

I think this is a very important point: how many people is one
voter group and how many people is one council (it is now all 50/50,
all the way to the national council, the single decision making
body, within the framework of the Constitution and so on, limited
by the Judicial and having to conform to time limits, Constitutional
protocol for changing the Constitution, and bowing for the Referendum
power (which is a special kind of referendum law, unlike those currently
used)).

And you offer what?

Everything, but the question is: will you even bother to look ?
Everything is here: http://www.socialism.nl This is in the order
of 1500 pages of tekst, economic theory, laws, and direct voting
software (voter verified, very hand/impossible to manipulate
significantly by whomever runs it). In short: completely democratized
states, run from the bottom upwards but with sufficient protocols
and safeguards to be stable. Law enforcement: yes. Judges: yes
(same structure as now).

Why did you ask what I offered, when in the organization field
you could have found an I'net address, looked, and found out ?
If you don't even do that, what will you do ?

I can explain my system - I think - in 9 steps, and I'll summarize
each step for brevity though it really needs. You should assume
each of these 9 steps is worked out in something like 100 pages
of tekst roughly. You haven't read those pages yet, you do not know
what is in them.

General principle of economics:
- Trade is to be about effort not power, power trading must therefore
be eliminated from the markets or the markets will not function.

4 solutions
- Business investment capital socialised, meaning nationalized mostly.
- The state must become an absolute democracy, ideally a bottom up
council participatory poeple's Government with strict and binding
Referendum law (this is all worked out already in a Constitution
proposal).
- Businesses where the starter leaves and that are bigger then 10
persons will democratize under Constitutional and common law,
starter gets compensation and share out of future profits.
- The natural resources (land) will be given to all persons, each
an equal part, excluding land reserved for nature, infrastructure;
you can not sell your land, but you can rent it out; the Government
can limit what you can do.

4 areas of struggle
- Consious consuming, stimulate the social economic initiatives
(note that the communists have historically refused to do this,
as they saw it as a distraction.)
- Participating in the elections with sister parties, who want to
implement above mentioned points and who are also organized already
along the lines of the proposed constitution (once through the gate
of such a party, everyone is part of an absolute bottom up
participatory democracy with binding Referendum law - and that is
all already worked out in detail, down to the badges to be worn by
the various elected positions and what not, more then you maybe can
imagine it is already worked out).
- Revolution: strike, form the councils according to the basic plan,
hopefully aided by the training in revolution we would have done
in our political parties (and perhaps elsewhere; this too is all
already worked out, how to run this revolution, but this can only
be worked out roughly because you can't pin yourselve down too
much in a real revolution, that would give the enemy too much
insight.)
- Last but not least: forming business investment funds, according to
the system/protocols set up for that (which means it is organized
democratically, and the fund-managers are payed out of contributions
and the capital sum is always `detached' from any particular private
interest); this fund will invest very cheaply (low rent) and demand
that if the business starter leaves and business is larger then 10
person, then it must democratize (or face economic warfare from the
fund - we will try to economically destroy those businesses then that
don't comply to their promises to us, that is perfectly legal and
happens all the time already, but in a negative way mostly).

That's a 9 point super-short summary. There will also be no UN anymore,
no EU, all countries must be sovereign and they most neither be too
large. USA has to be cut up, China has to be cut up into many pieces.

There is easily enough material to keep you studying for a few month.
So please do, then erect a DAVID sister party in your area, and start
working on the 4 modes of struggle to reach the 4 goals of the system.

Here is my standard pamflet about the system itself:

*

A BETTER FUTURE ?

analysis

* We can not build without a political/economic solution: analysis,
solutions, laws. A system of society/law must be invented, and then a
way to get it (overcoming distortion of democracy by Capital). This
sheet proposes a certain solution, worked out in detail elsewhere.

* Trading of products and services is (should be) a protection for the
people that produce them. To be fair this demands equal power between
all people.

* The things that go wrong without justification, are the result of
the greedy and unaccountable management invested in by the gambling
private financiers for their own sake (Capitalist distortion of the
free markets).

solution

* All investment money becomes a democratic tool, no more private
gambling with people's lives by the unproductive financial investment
sector.

* Companies become democracies when the business starter leaves.
Starter gets compensation and a share of future profits.

* Land for nature and public utility is subtracted from the total of
the Nation first, what remains is divided equally. What you can do
with it is limited by democratic government to prevent chaos. You can
not sell/lose this right, but you can rent it out.

* Sectors of productivity where competition for consumer favor does
not work because there can't be enough competitors or the cost of
bankruptcy is too high that it can't be allowed anyway, are directed
by democracy/negotiation.

* Money is transferred to a new (not global) currency to flush out
private Capital. The money and debt of people is transplanted to the
new money, but a maximum (30 times average?) is set for everyone, what
is more is not transplanted to the new money (it stops existing).

* The maximum size of a Nation will be 100 million voters, each Nation
will be fully sovereign.

method

* First thinking about (this and/or other) solutions, improving them
where needed. See for theory, Constitution proposal, technology:

http://www.socialism.nl

*

Here is my standard pamflet for a revolution (note that a revolution
is depricated, it is better to reach the goals through the ballot
box, but in some nations there is no meaningful democracy or it is
very weak (such as in the USA which has 1 party rule). Note that this
is *not* a coupe, this is a revolution. The difference is that a coupe
takes place around the palace and involves some minor groups or smaller
segments of the population: a fight for the flag and loyalty of the
army and police. A revolution as I see it is the total moving of
most/all ordinary people, to organize themselves and in the process
the previous form of Government becomes irrelevant and powerless.
That is extremely serious and risky, and therefore it must be worked
out best possible and trained for, and the eye must always be on
preventing anarchy, maintaining order, the flow of life first
necessities, the success of the state system there and then and to
prevent the emergence of dictatorship.

*

A PEOPLE'S GOVERNMENT ?

* Make sure the conditions are favorable: no international war threat
because of these changes, National majority which has declared itself
openly in favor.
* People group per 100 or (a little?) more, elect one voter block
housekeeper. This housekeeper is responsible for proper voting
procedure. Elect a delegate / representative. Any delegate can be
replaced at any moment if the voters of its block elect someone else.
* Delegates group geographically per 50 or more to form Local
Government. Delegates elect from between themselves a chair person; it
has no vote, it is responsible for the associated voter block
housekeepers. This Local Government Council first decides on a Council
name by agreeing a majority vote has been reached on a name, handles
emergency situations, sets and publishes its agenda points for the
next meeting. Unless there are emergencies, agenda points can only be
handled if they have been 7 days on the public agenda. Proposals for
new law require more time: 2 month' on the agenda. Taking this delay
serious prevents chaos and is more democratic. If there are a lot of
delegates in a local Government body, they can group again together to
form 50 groups of local delegates. Each delegate group sends one delegate
for Local Government.
* Proposed/default meeting places: Monday 1st and 3rd of the Month in
the city-center or first suitable location to its North, if none there
first suitable location to the east of the line city center / North by
rotating that line around the city like the arm of a clock. Tuesday
every week the same in neighborhoods (according to name or geography).
Wednesday on 4 O'Clock in the neighborhoods in the street which sorts
lowest in the alphabet. Thursday the delegates which have been elected
by other delegates in the city center or neighborhood center.
* When you get things right, look at other cities and make sure they
get it right.
* Entire Nation: Divide the Nation in blocks not larger then 100 million
potential voters (adults or all persons). Divide this Nation in 50 blocks
with (about) equal numbers of delegates. Each 50th of the Nation's
delegates, elects one delegate for National Government. This "Country
Council" works like the Local Government Councils: agenda points, delegate
replacement. Elect the Electoral Committee (EC), that is 10 persons on a
National ballot directly by the People, see Constitution for the rules.
Decide whether you want a King Elect, if so the oldest in the EC will
become King Elect. The EC can be elected and next to it a Referendum
on whether the People want to start with a King Elect in place. This
King only has power if the delegates create chaos and the courts agree
this is the case. The EC can call new elections, also for themselves
by stepping down. This King has to be re-elected after having had real
power for one year (see Constitution for the exact rules).
* It is a system of Law, not a system of unlimited representative
power, Referendum results are binding. The Local Government deals
with local problems and can make law to the degree the Country
Council allows it. The Country Council handles National issues,
maintains the Constitution and Currency, solves problems between
Local Governments. The Courts maintain the system: Courts of Justice
solve legal disputes, Judge Courts judge potential mistakes there, the
National Law Court interprets the Law if there are legal disputes on
the meaning of the Law. There is no rules higher then the Constitution,
the Police enforces the Law. The Courts will have to accept the new
Laws, but all law that does not conflict with the Constitution, remains
as is, until it is explicitly changed by the proper legal procedure.
* Take responsibility for the Nation, and be accountable. Uphold the
law, fight crime. The Country is not embedded in an International
nanny system, but fully sovereign to do what it wants. You will get
the kind of country according to the effort put in.

http://www.socialism.nl

*

That's what I offer: everything. For all nations of the world.

On paper that all looks good.
In real life it does not work! It does not take into account human
nature! Never will work. Dream on!

that if the business starter leaves and business is larger then 10
person, then it must democratize (or face economic warfare from the
fund - we will try to economically destroy those businesses then that
don't comply to their promises to us, that is perfectly legal and
happens all the time already, but in a negative way mostly).

That's what I offer: everything. For all nations of the world.

On paper that all looks good.
In real life it does not work! It does not take into account human
nature! Never will work. Dream on!

Human nature is already taken into account:
http://www.socialism.nl/~joshb/technical_darwinism.html

This is what I mean with you people, you always think I don't do
my homework because you never do yours. I know "human nature" is
a big problem, but I think it can get a significant "kick in the
butt," from the actual truth as well as from the extreme davastation
that humanity is cooking up for itself and that will probably make
many surviving people reconsidder ... reconsidder their own lazyness
towards the social justice I guess.

Anyway, I also know that the USA is relatively backwards
country, not all peoples are like that. Even if we can't make it
in the USA, that is only 5% of the whole planet. It is not that
significant.

Secondly, I think it is more of a miracle that the present day
system can rule, then that my system can rule, think about it.
Think about a blank planet, and you propose both the current
system, and my system. I think the current system is pretty
extreme and weird. OTOH, it is the established system, I know,
change will be relatively difficult but absolutely not impossible.

You should realize that the past is full of dramatic changes,
after centuries of absolute stability. Look at the most stable
empire ever: Egypt. For countless centuries nothing changed.
And not it is like it is now. Things change, whether you want them
to or not.

Working for something better is all we can do. Human nature will
also change when it is offered real chances.

Why is some hoodlum in Harlem an gun wielding gangbanger ? For
many of them, it is also a last escape. If the alternative to
robbing & stealing is being a wage slave, burger flipper ...
But what if the alternative is a real good job, at least properly
paying, if the system means you are nothing less but a land
owner, by definition. If health care is guaranteed ... The system,
particularly in the USA, forces people to be bad. That part of
"human nature" is not human nature, but the result of a failed
culture.

So, now we take this hoodlum, guns on all pockets and knives
in both socks, and we put him in a meeting to discuss water
drainage. No surprise that won't work. But what if this guy or
girl had had real chances, maybe he is not the hard core but
a "hanger on" who rolled into that bad life because of the
circumstances. What if those circumstances where just that
little bit better, that little bit more fair. He'd be some
postal worker for example, and get an honorable pay for honorable
work. Then he doesn't infect his nephews and neigbor kids with
his gangbanging, and so on and so forth.

But anyway, the USA is probably going to go the way of all
empires, and like many would have said "dictatorship in the
USA is impossible, it is not our nature," you can end up with
that more easily then you'd like. It can also go the other way,
toward more rather then less democracy.

And besides that, the state-system is only one part of it all,
it does not need to be pushed through like a 10 ton truck
through the neck of a goose. We can make small improvements
to the USA state system, one by one, and it doesn't even
ever have to end up with a council government from the people
upwards. The big thing is that it is actually democratic,
benevolent, any way you want to do that: fine. A big thing in
that, though, is that the USA is to be cut up into about 10
sovereign nations, each with their own currency. That is an
absolute requirenment, no system will ever work without it.
If you don't want that: I'm not helping you out because it
would be useless anyway.

The more important aspect is to democratize most business
investment credit, take it out of the free market. If you
don't want that, then you neither will have functioning
states. If you don't try, you are guilty, thrown in with that
"human nature" you talked about. Give it the best shot you
can, what else can you do. Even if it won't work (soon) in
the USA, if you do your best, you up your chances of being
allowed to live in a country that does manage to get things
in order to a minimum that would be functional long term.

You realize that around 1900, the whole world was on the
brink of a Communist revolution, with as its principle aim
to install a peoples council Government ? What do you mean
that things can't change, they change every so often quite
dramatically. I believe it can be done, why not. "Human
nature" is no excuse, that's just "I don't want to do anything,
I like it like it is, and I've found an excuse to pretend I'm
right for it."
