Remember about, oh, 10 years ago, when colleges tried to adopt a 'zero
tolerance' to certain things like "The N word" and ANY use of it, in any
form, got you the same punishment, until finally somebody realized that
you couldn't TELL anyone what words they couldn't use, and you couldn't
report them for using them, and you couldn't have any kind of a hearing
on it, making it hard to defend or punish.
