I just talked to a heart surgeon today who said he and other doctors
are not allowed to debate the health care bill. He said if the bill
as written passes he will retire. These are the people dedicated to
our health care. This surgeon is one of the best and does not live
the rich lifestyle that so many think these doctors have. These
doctors are true doctors that are having their profession and careers
severely hurt by politicians that will not listen. I just wish that
Nancy Polesi and all the health care reform advocates could talk to
this doctor and others like him before it is too late.
This doctor just performed open heart surgery on a 74 year old
relative of mine who has insurance. He said that if the health care
reform bill were law, he doubts that he would have been PERMITTED to
perform the surgery. |

They're all moving to Europe, Japan, China, South America or Canada
where they have single payer systems.
If they moved to South Africa or Somalia where they have the same
system like we do, they would do fine, but then again maybe not.

We need to let private corporate monopolies run our lives and decide
whether we get treatment or not. The tax payer funded, elected
government should keep it's hands off the affairs of the people.
All that money could go to fund another Iraq style invasion with
massive military contracts. We funded free health care for the
people of Iraq, but funding it for American tax payers is just wrong
somehow. |
