The Opposite Of Americanism...

When the smoke of whatever immediate urgency clears and a now cold and
clear eye is turned to the principles upon which the US Constitution was
written, a stark simplicity emerges.

It was written by humans for humans. Not by god pleasing-kings, not by an
imperial blood line, nothing which pretended to be anything other than a
group of humans attempting a form of common civil bond between other
human beings.

How those people defined 'human' rested on a belief or principle that
each human was born with a common and elevated status by no other virtue
than by being born human. From this then came their design of government.

This idea was not new. No one just thought this up. However, that this
idea was placed as a pivot upon which any government form would turn and
perpetually reference, this was fairly new. It was not the thought, it
was the weight given to the thought that has turned the collective heads
of the world.

Slavery of course was the antithesis of this ideal but it was this ideal
which helped end it. It is this ideal which has caused many changes since
then. This ideal is even feigned as a reason for wars to this day.

There is now something other than a human being which has been given, in
part, this innate human status. A not human 'person' created by law. The
thing called Corporate person-hood. A collective of humans who under a
lawful charter can operate but not be held responsible as humans, only as
a Corporate person. A 'judicial' or 'legal', innately inhumane person.

[ The word 'person' not defined specifically by law as being also a
individual human being, opens this bizarre world, it seems. ]

It's legal history in the US goes back to the 1800's. It's has grown in
power and influence ever since. This thing now claims and is given first
amendment protection. A base human right.

It has now dominated American life from play to work to war. It defines
it's own 'commercial culture' passed of as 'popular' and is now so
politically embedded as to have it's officers and representatives move
freely in and out of all levels of government positions as if as whim.

It controls human health, food, energy and, very soon, water and even the
money needed to buy these. It controls the laws and the people in
government that makes these laws.

The human good, a human value, human-ness can have no meaning since it is
not human. To it, the human become a thing. A thing of asset (or not) or
of resource (or not) and perpetual units of indentured lease payers,
emotionally manipulated consumers and voters, always in some urgent state
of fear, panic, rage or total alienation.

Great claims are made about original intentions. I certainly make one
here. Americanism is a design by only humans for humans only. The
Corporate Not Human Person is a disease. A disease in government and a
disease in what really was at one time a 'marketplace'. It is this
disease that 'attacks our freedoms' and ruins real private business and
all social benefits from private human business through Corporate
government, no longer 'our' government, a government and an economy
intended for and by 'people' which now must be qualified as most
emphatically human individuals also.
