In the Brittish TV documentary "meet the natives," at some
point a small group of Tanna first nation people visit
Manchester. They notice there are homeless people, and can
wonder why these people have no homes when there are so many
people buying things and many buildings are unused. Obviously
the answer never comes, and they conclude after seeing Brittish
people spend money and time on professionaly washing and
giving hair cuts to their dogs (!!), that the Brittish care
a lot for their animals, but they care not for people. They
asked that the Brittish people take better care of people.
Fortunately the people of Tanna never gave in to accepting
the western practices of having people stay on the street
without a home.

On Tanna, if you do not have a home, everyone will help
you build one. If you go to another part of the island,
you can always stay in someone elses home.

On Tanna, there is always peace and harmony.

This means that we would do very well in all western nations
to ask much advice and help from the 1st nations. If they want
to help us, we could ask them to occaisionally inspect our
nations and advice us on everything that we are doing wrong
again. We can then invite them and pay for their trip and stay,
but absolutely not trying to corrupt them with the bad ways
of the western world, and only people should come who would
not be thus corrupted. If we lose the 1st nations, where would
we be ?
