Perchance to DREAM...
It would be SO NEAT to be able to just jump ahead to 2025!!
...and step out of the time machine and discover that in the USA:
-- Passenger rail service was well in progress to being
RESTORED, and on the way to being as widespread
and as efficient as it was in 1960... and was in Europe
in 2009.
-- Cell phones with all their problems were long gone, and
replaced by the sort of satellite phone systems that
Europe had already had for decades by 2009.
-- Same-sex marriage was as legal in all 50 states as
interracial marriage was by 2009 -- and that no one
even gave it a second thought anymore. NO more
bigotry-driven controversy.
-- A Freedom of Choice Amendment had codified the abortion
rights of Roe vs. Wade -- and had ELIMINATED all the
asinine restrictions on abortion that had existed in 2009.
-- All of the hate-agendas of the bigoted RRR and LDS Cults
were extinct, and such cultists were as hard to find as
segregationists were in 2009... and as popular as slugs.
How SWEET it would be to jump ahead into the future and find
that ALL of those improvements were a DONE DEAL!!

I know. The USA is IMMENSELY backward compared to Europe.
I was comparing the possibilities of 2025, to today's actualities.
From what I've heard, any CELL phone service they have is
FAR superior to ours. And more importantly, EUROPE **has**
SATELLITE phones!

With a time machine, you'd be the same age there as you are now.
(BTW, I'm 68, just 3 years shy of 71, and I feel the same as I
did (and can do everything that I did) at 35. So take heart!

You can't TELL me that there aren't TENS OF MILLIONS of Americans
who wouldn't LOVE to have easy, click-of-the-remote access to the
