Sure, but this is also very funny. For years we've been dictated by
government and industry alike, the importance of holding salaries down to
prevent inflation etc, whilst the working man has complained of financial
difficulty and an ever increasing spiral of debt. The vast majority of MPs
are on salaries many times that of the national average of the private
sector even without the fiddles and scams. If they're claiming
impoverishment and persecution on their salaries, what chance does the
rest of the country have of ever creating a financial recovery? .. about
nil?
