I don't own or operate the motel in Taos which wants its employees to
speak English,

so you're insulting the wrong party.  When I travel to
Panama, I expect the natives to speak Spanish or French or a local
dialect of the San Blas Indians, for example.

 When travelling in
Taos, I expect the locals to speak English.  When in Japan, I expect
the locals to speak Japanese.  When in Germany, I expect the locals to
speak German.  I would be confused if a German hotel had Mexicans

The state of New Mexico adheres to USofAmerican Supreme Court
decision of March 1848 making it law of the USofA.
The decision to ratify the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo makes
said treaty Law of the USofAmerica.  Anyone who does not adhere
to said law is in direct opposition to the USofAmerica.
Written in the New Mexico Constitution is a continuation of
the Treaty of Gaudalupe Hidalgo which mandates Spanish be spoken,
taught ect ect in the State of New Mexico.

If you don't like it, you can always leave Taco and Green Hatch Chili
Land

so you're insulting the wrong party.  When I travel to
