Hi
Someone has started cleaning up a field near me that contained all
manner of miscellaneous waste here in the UK. The guy has decided to
just BURN whatever it is (and he doesn't sound like he has ANY idea
what it is that he is burning!). The result has been a seriously evil
smell.
Is it possible that he has been creating DIOXINS by burning/
incinerating God knows what?
(He has built a couple of HUGE bonfires. They have been burning for a
couple of days now. I talked briefly to him but he did not seem have
any idea WHAT is was that he has been burning!
- Miscellaneous plastics?
- Miscellaneous agricultural/industrial chemicals?
- Rubber?
It smell totally acrid. An evil, evil, evil smelll...
Should we be panicking?
And if so who should we be contacting?
