and at least NKorea once was part of the NPT, whereas Pakistan and
India never have been. most probably, their abstinence/defiance has
been allowed by the "civilized Western world" because the Pakistanis
and Indians have been written off as being Western pawns. Recent
developments there are starting to prove that is not so much assured.
and don't forget who it was that introduced the use of nuclear weapons
into use in the world: the United States.

it was already known the germans were going to surrender within weeks,
their former unstoppable war machine beat to mush by the allied
forces. but the japanese navy had been increasingly been making
inroads from infancy at the beginning of the war to being a real
threat at that time, so just had to decimate those japs. vietnam
later proved how hard it was to dig those orientals out of the ground
once they were dug in, didn't it?
time for the other side of their world to be able to eat some cake
now, isn't it? |
