Welcome to a world gone mad, everyone! Where no one cares, no one is
aware of themself or their surroundings, no one thinks past their next
meal, and the greatest motto anyone knows is: "who knows, who cares,
why bother?"
I'm tired of all that, aren't you???
My name isYngvaar Ulfsen, and I am the founder of an experiment that
seeks to become something more. I am the founder & Guardian of an
established micronation called Lykosha. I am looking for some
adventuresome, bold people, who have been following their noses all
alone, wish for community, and the savage beauty of the world.
Once, a very long time ago, humankind watched the untamed creatures of
the world, and walked in their footsteps, and wore their skins, and
did what they did, in order to survive in the wild world. Later, as
we became more sophisticated, and the land lost its savage nature, we
thought we could let go of the wild ways we had followed.
But problems with the land, and with one another as we separated
ourselves from our wild brothers and sisters, became more and more
common. We've forgotten that the chief of our teachers were our
predatory cousins, who lived as one with the land, and took from it
only what they needed.
Paramount of these were the wolves, who hunted and acted and sang
together as one, who later came to us as friends: to hunt with us, and
lay by our fire, and who served us only because they loved us.
We who live in Lykosha ask the question: what if we still walked on
this path? What if we walked the way of the wolf once again, without
forgetting the other, more modern things we have also learned? Can we
do this? I believe so, and that's why I have started this experiment,
to see if I am wrong or right.
In Lykosha, we live our life as though we were two-legged wolves, so
that "the strength of the wolf is the Pack, and the strength of the
Pack is the wolf." Group before self before strangers is the basis of
our law. We are looking for strong-minded individuals who are also
team-players in a very unforgiving, selfish world.
some of what we give up by living this way might be thought hard; it
can be hard to learn old ways made new again (I myself am inherently
lazy by nature, like a dog lying in the warm, hazy sun).
What do we expect? Why everything, of course; Lykosha is as much a
way of life as it is a nation. Yet those who join us have the
opportunity to shape our future.
Just ask yourself: "can you walk the way of the wolf? Can you give
everything you have to be part of the Pack? Can you howl with us?
Can you bite back when life slaps you on the face? Are you tired of
the way of the world? Would you trade the way of the modern world for
"the way of the wolf?" Are you ready to make a whole new world? And,
if asked, can you commit yourself to a people that won't just "roll
over" & give up when barked at? *I* am certainly willing to give it a
shot.
