Just a thought:

Although a monarchist by necessity, in my personal life, I've always
been a bit of a cowboy: in my music (that and baroque classical),
philosophy (stylized), and sometimes even in my clothes. Lately, I've
been wondering:

1) Was there ever a micronation or national project based on the
ideals of the old cowboy philosophy? By this, I don't mean: "the only
good Injun is a dead injun" or Cowboy-Indian wars, etc. but the old
"handshake" promise, no-nonsense values (don't promise what you can't
keep)kind.

"It's better to have worked for your dinner than to have dressed for
it."

...things like that. I mean, other than the racialism "cowboy/injun"
attitude, many of the bottom-line,common sense ideals are still good.
I just wonder....
