"So ya
Thought ya
Might like to Go to the show.
To feel that warm thrill of confusion,
That space cadet glow.
I’ve got some bad news for you sunshine,
Pink isn’t well, he stayed back at the hotel
And they sent us along as a surrogate band
We’re gonna find out where you folks really stand."

"Is everyone in?
Are you having a nice time?
Now the final solution can be applied."

Well I guess is time for me to give my answer to what I have found as
the meaning to the lyrics:
"Run rabbit run
dig that hole, forget the sun
and when at last the work is done
don’t sit down, it’s time to dig another one"

Well one of the biggest issues Roger Waters had with the image of Pink
Floyd, painted as just a psychedelic band, a band for pot smockers or
acid. In which people never gave a thought during their earlier years
to what they had been trying to be. None of the members did any acid,
or smoked pot that I know of, this of course after Syd's time. What
I'm trying to say is that people just used the band as an object as
any regular Rock band in the Rock scene in which they just party and
listen to music and do whatever, but failed to see that they really
weren't that, but the fans always trapped Pink Floyd within that wall
of thought because they weren't able to see beyond them as something
else besides just another band except this one stands out for it
enhances my drug used experience. I can say this for this is the
stereotype that I fell into when I listened to Pink Floyd, but
something happened to me that changed my perspective of things this
after some use mostly of marijuana. Well this stereotype gave Roger
Waters the concept for The Wall because fans demanded those "trippie
songs" instead of The Animals songs which made Roger angry because the
"Pink Floyd fans" were mostly there for the enjoyment of their
pleasure.

There are meanings that I have found to some of the albums, some
songs, some lyrics, after challenging myself to see behind The Wall of
illusion of what is nomal and what is known according to the way the
"world" or the current system of things makes you think but you don't
use your free will to rebelled from this mental slavery.

"And no one showed us to the land
And no one knows the where’s or why’s.
but something stares and something tries
and starts to climb toward the light."

"And no one calles us to the land
And no one forces down our eyes.
No one speaks and no one tries
No one flies around the sun…."

So when I realized the amount of things that I found out about what
Pink Floyd was really saying, I thought it was normal, but I
encountered the fact that not many thought this way. I found meaning
to The Division Bell even before I even heard of the now famous and
known as "bs" to those who are still trapped behind walls of their own
mind to see the message, "Publius Enigma" way before I even knew even
of its existence cause I've only been a "Pink Floyd Fan" for about 4-5
years. So I decided to join amp-f because this were it originated to
see if people were still talking about it, to see if there was any
solution, and to see if anybody has found the meaning that I have
found. Well people were still talking about it but they have made it
into a whole mess of complicated random stuff, without really looking
at the message, the lyrics of the songs in TDB. Well I had found a
meaning to the message but it was really personal, and it was
something inexplicable that even if you tried to just say it, people
would not believe you because they're still "behind the wall". Like
Publius who knew what the message was but instead of giving it away
because of people disbelief in anything beyond "what they know", he
decided to guide people to unearth the treasure of its meaning, but
people instead concentrated on shooting the messanger and putting him
behind their wall of "just a publicity stunt by the band", so people
didn't care. Well just the same way that he did, I have tried to
start again discussions about what really was the Enigma? But people
still behind their walls and talking about nothing but just shooting
and hating on each other, not real talk in this group was happening so
I mostly gave up.

***But I'll give you the meaning to the just this lyrics and still
can't believe that noone was able to see it, except someone that
actually said that "there's no rest for the wicked" it was very
close.***

***Now my meaning is easy if you open your mind and imagine and not
just deconstructed as just nothing, for if it was then why weren't you
able to see it?***

*******Run Rabbit Run...Dig that hole forget the sun...(This is just a
metaphor of the rabbit representing a man, like on the song "On The
Run" who is just busy on his business or work (which is diggin holes,
"And when at last the work is done") of making a living without giving
a thought to Time passing by (Forget The Sun) until it has pass by him
without the realization of his existence, until like in the song On
The Run he's caught by death ("Don't sit down" line after ("And When
At Last The Work Is Done" meaning "retirement" you have done your work
but there is no rest "Don't sit down you have to dig another One")
Another hole, but this ONE being...your grave.*********

Genesis 3 17-19
"Cursed is the ground because of you;
through painful toil you will eat of it
all the days of your life.

18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,
and you will eat the plants of the field.

19 By the sweat of your brow
you will eat your food
until you return to the ground,
since from it you were taken;
for dust you are
and to dust you will return."

"Who are you and who am I
To say we know the reason why?
Some are born; some men die
Beneath one infinite sky.
There’ll be war, there’ll be peace.
But everything one day will cease.
All the iron turned to rust;
All the proud men turned to dust.
And so all things, time will mend.
So this song will end."
