Is there really much point to getting the singles...

Hmm, I don't have some of the single cuts on these boxsets, but I'd still
probably say no, it's not worth it :)

I can't help wondering who these boxsets are actually aimed at - I guess the
ordinary man in the street wouldn't buy them. The average Queen fan
probably already has everything on them. So it's really just the
completists.

As you say, the sooner they stop re-hashing what has been hashed all too
often, and start releasing rare demos, live stuff, unreleased songs etc, the
better!

I'm with you on that - take the Freddie Boxset and The Beatles
Anthologies as a model, add in as much 70s live material (including at
the BBC) as possible, and put it out on CD and DVD. It's what all the
fans are waiting for!
