OK, we all know there was a 12" collection CD released as part of the
"Box of Trix", and most of us also know it was woefully inadequate, and
contained 2 songs that didn't need to be there. Here was the Tracklisting
for the original:
1. Bohemian Rhapsody
2. Radio Ga Ga (12" Remix)
3. Machines (Or Back To Humans)
4. I Want To Break Free (12" Remix)
5. It's A Hard Life (12" Remix)
6. Hammer To Fall (12" Remix)
7. Man On The Prowl
8. A Kind Of Magic (12" Remix)
9. Pain Is So Close To Pleasure (12" Remix)
10. Breakthru (12" Remix)
11. The Invisible Man (12" Remix)
12. The Show Must Go On
Now, I'd take off "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "The Show Must Go On" right off
the bat. So now we're looking at adding back in some things that were
omitted.
1. Staying Power 12"
2. Back Chat 12"
3. Radio Ga-Ga 12"
4. I Want To Break Free 12"
5. It's a Hard Life 12"
6. Keep Passing The Open Windows 12"
7. Man On The Prowl 12"
8. Machines (or Back To Humans) 12"
9. Hammer to Fall 12" Headbangers mix
10. One Vision 12" Extended Version
11. A Kind Of Magic 12" Extended Version
12. One Year Of Love 12" (from Highlander DVD special edition)
13. Pain Is So Close To Pleasure 12" Extended mix
14. Friends Will Be Friends 12"
15. Scandal 12" Extended Version
16. The Invisibvle Man 12" Extended Version
17. Breakthru 12" Extended Version
I'm sure some other "extended versions" were released, but these are the
big ones, and the ones that were actually designated as being '12"
versions', seeing as how vinyl took a nose dive in commercial
availability around the same time as the CD was coming into easier
avialability for more of the general public, and the CD single begain to
replace the 45 and the 12".
I'm almost certain that this tracklisting will not fit on a single CD,
but its a better representation of Queen's 12" output. |
