AT&T is shutting off ALL newsgroups on June 31st 2009, ALL............

able to subscribe with some of
these, but not all of them. When I successfully download messages,
however,
I have not been able to reply or post messages using these.

One that worked for me was identified only as 202.177.16.121.
Another one: freenews.netfront.net

If anyone finds out how to post messages with these, using windows mail
please post the instructions

Well, Giganews at $US2.95/month provides me with Superior Service,
including all the binaries and posting I could wish for up to 2GB
which is a Pretty Big Order..

including all the binaries and posting I could wish for up to 2GB
which is a Pretty Big Order..

Yeah well right now we are on a fixed income and news was a part of the
contract with SBC/AT&T and was being charged for, these news Groups rent
space from AT&T and all the other hardliners providers Bellsouth, Commiecast
etc. The price that I pay for my upgraded DSL line won't drop a dime. When
that Yankee wuss Como filed suit against ISP's for carrying NG's that's what
started this, now he's into guess what internet newsgroups.


What Yankee wuss Como ?
