I was copying this album to digital, on the track So Hard To Choose there is
a periodic thump starting at 1:23 and continues to the end of the 7 minute
track. I couldn't filter it without compromising the surrounding audio so I
download the track from Amazon. To my amazement it had the same thump. The
LP is Polydor 24-4004. Does anyone have this album with the same issue, and
does anyone know where I can download a thumpless copy.

hi Jeff,

can't find any thump neither on my old Polydor vinyl nor on compact
disk. I think you mean the bass guitar player's playing.

I rediscovered an old album I somtimes heard in the very beginning 70s -
blues goes psychedelic underground.

Original-title *The Howlin' Wolf Album* - German issue:
*Blues... Now* - ultra rare!

Info:
Howlin’ Wolf - This Is Howlin’ Wolf’s New Album

Muddy Waters did 2 similar albums that time - "Electric Mud" and "After
the Rain". Maybe still available.

Sorry had the track name wrong should be Share not Choose. It must be the
acoustics in the room that's causing the thumping distortion. Since I've got
the album burned to a cd I'll try it in some different environments.

If I remember right starting with this album from 1969 up to 1970 John
Mayall made 3 albums in sequence without any drum or drummer.

- Turning Point
- Empty Rooms
- USA Union
