Hi everyone, mostly a lurker here but I've got a question for you.

I'm going to visit an old friend in a few weeks. We used to "jam"
together. Most of it being drunken, noisy, horrible garbage out in his
garage.

He's mainly a blues/rock guitarist but he knows good musicianship when he
hears it and loves anything that's "good".

If I were to pick 5 Dream Theater songs that would blow his mind what
would they be? I could easily pick the ones that display Portnoy's skills
but I don't know anything about technical guitar work, I just know what
"sounds" good.

So, with that being said...what 5 songs would you pick? I want him to
hear Petrucci at his absolute technical best.
