After listening to the podcasts of "The Stranger", I realized that there
were quite a few different "takes" of songs laced throughout the interviews.
One that leaps to mind is "Just the Way you Are" with a more "sparse" drum
track (bongos)?
Anyone know where you can find any of these - really got me interested in
the songs again?
Thanks!

Ed,
That version of JTWYA is from the live Carnegie Hall '77 disc that is
part of the 30th Anniversary release. That show is before The
Stranger was recorded and the drums are different.

4 or 5 years ago, someone was selling 3 bootleg CDs on eBay and most of
what was on them was alternate studio takes. It was interesting listening,
but two of the disks were defective and a few of the songs wouldn't play,
so I only listened twice. I'd like to see all of this material released
officially.
