I've been trying to remember the title and the rest of the words to an
old country song that was popular way back in the '50s or maybe
earlier. The fragment I can remember is;

That same old moon is shining down,
Upon the place we used to be.
It seems to know that you were wrong, darling,
That you should come on back to me.

I think these lines were the chorus, but I may be confused here.

Can anyone tell me the title to this old song, so I can Google for the
complete lyrics?

Thanks, Gordon

Google the words you wrote here. Sometimes it works when you don't have the
title, and just enter some of the lyrics.

I've tried that, but got no hits. I'm thinking this may have been a

song from a movie that never made it beyond the screen. If it was
never recognize as a popular song, there isn't likely to be much in
the way of information available.

I've found this, it sure sounds like the song you're talking about, but I
haven't found the lyrics yet.

There's a tune by that name in this Boxed Set
