I haven't been paying attention to the setlist recently, but I took a look at
the last few shows, and there was only 1 Southern Harmony track at each show. I
think the last set I saw had 1 SYMM, 1 SH, 2 Amorica, and a lot of new stuff. So
that's pretty cool.
I'm seeing the Crowes tonight, I'm hoping for a good mix of old songs
plus a healthy dose of new songs as I haven't seen them since Warpaint
came out. Should be interesting as the Crowes are playing the MN State
Fair, its an outdoor venue that holds about 14,000 not sure how many
will be there as they usually play theaters when they come through. |

Hope it was good. Their festival sets sometimes are a let down. I've got a
friend in Burnsville who goes to most of the Crowes shows in your area, and she
went to the fair one with a friend. Not sure if she's gonna do the Orpheum one
later this year or not. That would probably be a better show. |

When are they playing the Orpheum? I haven't seen anything about that.
The show was good, not great. Lots of songs I hadn't heard before which
was nice, the keys solo in Wiser Time was pretty bad but thankfully
Luther took over and helped save the song. I dug that song Quinn the
Eskimo, hadn't heard it before. I'll be honest that a lot of the crowd
was lost as they didn't know most of the songs, some guy behind me kept
yelling "play the popular stuff", I'm glad they didn't! I think the last
six times I've seen them they've done Thorn, I like the song but I was
really hoping for Morning Song this time. Nice outdoor venue and it was
a perfect night for some good tunes.

They aren't playing the Orpheum, that's ZZ Top. I got confused. Crowes are at
First Avenue on 12/10. |

wish they would stop doing that. |

Quinn The Eskimo is a Bob Dylan song with a chorus that goes "Come on
without....Come on within...you've not seen nothin' like the mighty
Quinn...".
Looks like with Girl From the North County, they did two Dylan's in a row.

oh yeah they did an intro to the song and then did the real long
version, it was about 20 minutes. I dig the long version of that and
Morning Song but I wish they didn't feel they had to play atleast one at
every show. Like I said I've seen thorn the last 6 or so times I've seen
them, I wouldn't mind getting 2 or 3 different songs in that slot. |

Thats pretty cool, I'd like to see them at First Ave again, saw them
there on the '98 small venue tour, the first with Audley. Also the day
before my birthday.
Quinn the Eskimo as already posted done by Dylan, I thought that song
went over better than Girl From the North Country. |

Hey Erik, how was Don't Do It? That was one of my favorite covers they did since
the whole reunion. I thought it sounded great with Marc Ford doing the opening
vocals, and then Chris coming in later. Who sings that part now? Luther or Rich? |

IIRC it was Rich, I don't think Luther sang anything. I just downloaded
the show from bt.etree so I'll check it out again. Don't Do it was a
nice closer, although I did hope they'd get two songs in for the encore. |
