Those CDs are generally so cheap these days why don't you spend a few bucks
and buy them new? You'll save time downloading, get the inserts and lyric
pages, and support the band in the process.
What if they buy them used?
How does that support the band?

Obviously buying secondhand doesn't support the band. That's why I
specifically said buy them NEW. You can find them new for pretty cheap if
you look around.
Of course if you're the sort of person who doesn't care about supporting
artists then it won't matter what I think. If you're going to pirate music,
you're going to pirate music. Go ahead. But for bands I like and feel are
worthy of my support I never pirate their music. Similarly I don't pirate
computer games because I feel (most) developers deserve being paid for their
work. I support a family on a single wage, and if I can save up and
legitimately buy items from time to time then I'm sure most other people can
as well. If you can't afford it don't listen to it / play it.
