There has been some discussions about songs that contain ghosts and
trying to decide who is the ghost and who isn't.
I would be hard pressed to find a song of Leonard's that didn't
contain a ghost or two. Why can't the ghosts be friends while we live
our lives as if it's real?
"
The candles burned
The moon went down
The polished hill
The milky town
Transparent, weightless, luminous
Uncovering the two of us
On that fundamental ground
Where love's unwilled, unleashed, unbound
And half the perfect world is found" |

Back to semantics...how would one define the word friend? I have to
be honest and say that until you actually meet someone face to face,
in the real world, and spend significant time with them can you call
them friend. There should be some other word for on-line only
"friendships" that are more ghost than matter. Not that ghosts can't
be friends. |

You are right. I didn't really like the word friend either. Maybe a
start of whatever it is that is possible can start with a democratic
choice of what we want to call it.
gazilch comes to mind but if anyone can think of something better, go
for it.
