Last night on the TV, on "Ashes To Ashes" (BBC1) the soundtrack
included "Same Old Scene" by Roxy Music. Now, I've heard that loads of
times before and love the song (first heard it on the "Times Square"
soundtrack) but I've never noticed before how much early Duran Duran
sounds just like it. Just as I was thinking that my wife actually
asked if it was DD, although she realised it wasn't Simon Le Bon.

Anyway what do you think (seeing as it's been very quiet round here
of late!).

I remember Simon mentioning that Roxy Music was one of their early
influences (too bad they weren't an influence on RCM...). Brian Ferry
could sing "Happy Birthday" and make it sound sultry...
