Does anyone know if Celine's 2 female backup singers, Elyse Duguay and
currently Mary-Lou Gaulthier, as well as some of her previous female backup
singers, have ever recorded anything of their own? They obviously have
phenomenal voices to keep up with Celine, and I'd love to hear what they can
do solo.
Thought this might be an interesting thread to start.

Oh please...........a throat cancer victim could keep up with Celine.
Celine sings songs like she's pissed at them. When she's finished with
a song, it lays on the floor bleeding like a beaten prize fighter. |

I'm honored...I've never had your peculiar brand of venom spewed at me
before. One would think that if you truly detested a singer so much, you
wouldn't waste your extremely high intelligence, not to mention the time you
spend not working on your next Nobel prize winning project or world-saving
idea, bothering with a silly little newsgroup for people who recognize and
appreciate a phenomenal voice that comes along once in a lifetime. (Forgive
the run-on sentence.) Then again, I suppose you're probably too busy waiting
for the newest Madonna release, or secretly praying that Michael Jackson
will soon announce his comeback tour.
Tell me, dear, what exactly DO you listen to?
If someday you would like to have an intelligent discussion about Celine
Dion and how she sings her songs, I would be happy to participate, but I'm
honestly not sure that you're up to the challenge.
I suppose insulting a singer and her fans is your little way of amusing
yourself. So amuse away....those of us who are in the music industry and
actually know talent, (and maybe even Celine herself) are simply amused at
your ignorance.

The only recording they made was in Bumwart Sask. at a pig yodeling
contest. Like a typical Celine Dion tune, the dogs howled for a week! |

No, They are only backup singers.
