THE BLACK CROWES with Robert Randolph & The Family Band and Drive-By
Truckers summer tour dates (unless otherwise noted):
Sat 7/1 San Antonio, TX Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre
Wow, they're really moving up in venue size.
The acoustic shows last night were fantastic! I hope any of you that want to
get to see one.
Highlights: Boomer's Story, Sin City, Thorn In My Pride (middle jam section
with Chris on harmonica was awesome), Darling of the Underground Press, the
Stones covers No Expectations & Let It Bleed, and one of the new songs
something Rooster Blues.
Had a blast!

Doesn't look like anytime soon, unless they pull a Southern Harmony on
us and do an album in 8 days again. |

It'll be interesting to see how the crowds are, the Crowes are the
biggest band and they only play theaters. I wonder what the ticket
prices will be? Sounds like it will be a fun tour though.

I saw the setlist on crowesbase, the two Stones covers would've been the
highlight for me. I downloaded two of the NYC shows and Chris and Rich
sound incredible together, so I can only imagine what it was like in
person. How big was the place you saw them at? Reading the review on
crowesbase it sounds like the crowd was kinda rude throughout the night.
reminds me of when I saw Chris and Paul Stacey acoustic, crowd was so
damn loud, ruined the night for me. |

why no acoustic Robinson Bro's show in Detroit? Whats up with that, every
time Ive seen BC,NEM or Hookah Brown always was a great showing from the
fans. Just rambling but I guess I can see the whole band at DTE in July

There were a few idiots who kept yelling out song requests, or yelling out
unitelligible drunk speak. Chris was in a real good mood the first show, and
was pretty chatty with the crowd, but in the second show, he seemed more
annoyed with some people in the crowd.
The venue was great. It was a small ballroom in the UT student union. I was
right in the middle about ten rows back (they put chairs on the floor) for
the 1st show, and only 5 rows back for the second show.
