Is it true that Stanze destroyed them? This is even worse than
Schindler destroying Beethoven's conversation books. It would've been
of great educational value to have Mozart's sketches, to gain more
insight into his compositional practice. It's tremendous that
Beethoven's exist. Conversational books we can do without. But musical
ideas, that is a tremendous loss.
