I wish the Leonard Cohen birthday show was in Atlanta, or even
Nashville, but it is way up in Canada (perhaps near your stomping
grounds, though, George?), because I'd love to go, myself.
There are a couple of events happening in different cities; one here
in Toronto

Atlanta &
Nashville: doable. Canada: only if I was being drafted! Here's
probably my favorite Cohen song, a pretty spooky one:

That was enjoyable. If I had to pick a favourite today, I'd probably
pick this one:

I guess if I were to pick my favorite Cohen, the "New Skin For An Old
Ceremony" album would be it, it was the first one I bought after being
exposed to him in 1976, after listening to the vinyl of my two high
school teachers turned friends, Dan Barfield and Angie Oliver, both
major Leonard Cohen supporters.
They were like "Yeah, your Dylan, Lou Reed and Kerouac are great, but
you need to hear /this/ guy, also..."
