its good that the BORN TO RUN melodies are structured different to
each other, OTHERWISE i would have thought it was one long song. with
the FIFTIES type of vibe and the BIG CRESCNEDO at the end of each one
( a time out to take a big breath for MEETIN ACROSS the RIVER), then
back for OOOOOO JUNGLELAND. completely different to each other. yes.

I don't believe I made that comparison, but yes, the songs on Born To
Run have melodies that are structured very differently from one
another.

BAT OUT OF HELL melodies are the same very DIFFERENT from each other.

that why its called good BRUCE music, that why you put the BRUCE in
there. when folk TALK about BRUCE music they dont have an ENO FRIPP
type of sound in mind. when you got MILES doin ON THE CORNER (a great
record my fav of his) folk dont ask, is THAT BRUCE?
TOL was a sorta of ACOUSTICAL record the beginning of when BRUCE tried
to go ANTI BRUCE and it didnt work, only lead to
TUNNEL OF LOVE rewrites like HUMAN TOUCH, not good bruce
music but MEDIOCRE bruce music. |

he gets back east will it be a greatest hits from the 50's? Since
we're early I'm kind of hoping we get to hear something new. |

Republican way.
So, you didn't tell me what you thought this tour might be like.
all BRUCE tours are SIMILAR in nature, this one will be a good one

Oh yeah, my not to be named insiders have reported some snafus during this

During "10th Avenue Freezeout"
Springsteen (singing): And I'm alone...I'm all alone
Clarence: And, kid, you better get my roasted chicken
While practicing improvised on stage patter:
Springsteen: HEY, STEVE! DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?!??
Steven: Dinner time? Please... |

Funny how that works ...........
or like PAUL SIMON criticzin BOB album by sayin 'the same three
chords', and BOB sayin ' well YES OF COURSE".
Bob got a sense of humor.
on top of the FACT they make millios SELLIN worthless papers they want
MORE MILLIONS in bonus!!! maybe they figure they f up is responisible
for the FREE money they are gettin so they wanna a cut.
If you screw up you get a bonus and/or a promotion. It's the
Republican way.

"all BRUCE tours are SIMILAR in nature, this one will be a good one
with HOPEFULLY more of the newer material to give the older
'standards' a breather.
tho i would think i would give em a month on the road to get
acclimated (sp), it may be a bit of huffin and puffin at the beginnig"
