I ordered the cd from Newbury for the stupid glass, but don't expect it'll
arrive until the end of next week, if I'm lucky.

I haven't found Warpaint online yet, I'll just wait till tuesday and buy it,
I"m not super excited for this album so I can handle waiting a couple days.

I preordered it via iTunes but wouldn't mind hearing the new tracks (I'm
lacking in patience). Can't find it though.

There's no Canada dates yet, but I just saw the reformed Stone Temple Pilots
is playing at Downsview Park in July. You were into them, weren't you?


STP reformed with Scott Weiland?? What happened to Velvet Revolver??


The original STP with Weiland are doing some summer dates. VR hasn't broken up,
though. They are saying they will begin working on the third album later this
year.

Thats Slash saying that, no one else in VR is saying much of anything about
the future of the band. I wouldn't be surprised that this is the end of VR, no
big loss IMO and I'm a huge Slash fan.

I'm okay either way. The last two STP albums were sub-par, the last one
was awful. The creative well had run dry and Weiland needed a change. I
think the second VR album is pretty good. Shame its not getting the
recognition the first one did.

I loved STP, but both VR albums are better than Shangri-La-Dee-Da. If
Scott goes back to STP, I hope they can improve on their latter works.

Weiland (like the Crowes) needs to get back on heavy dope.
