Wanted live concerts on cdr,dvd,vcd
of Mark knopfler tour 2005

Went to see Mr Knopfler twice in March this year.
Once at Rod laver Arena in Melbourne ( sat
4 rows back fron the center of the stage )
15000 ppl at the concert.
Then, a few days later at The Enmore Theatre in Sydney
Sat 8 rows from the stage center in a venue that holds 1500 ppl.
If I die today ....I will die a happy man....Knopfler was SENSATIONAL!
The man is like fine wine ....gets better with age.
Just the best 2 nights of my life !

It couldn't have been better than the Adelaide concert.  I got a second
row seat, no more than 10 metres from Mark - he was about 40 degrees to my
left. I have seen some fantastic concerts since Jan 1964, but this was the
best. I missed Dire Straits' first tour, but I've made sure I've seen him
on every tour since. Is there any news of a live CD or DVD?

Hey someone else in Melbourne? I was looking for Knopfler/straits
bootlegs and decided to check out usenet. Lucky I did;-)
I went to the Melbourne concert, bloody awesome. Telegraph road and
Sultans sent chills down my spine.
Just picked up the One take radio sessions, listening ATM. Good stuff.
Been thumping the BIA sacd a bit too.
I am trying to find a copy of the hope and anchor front row festival,
any ideas where to look?
