This rumor unlike the Metallica, Megadeth,Slayer, Anthrax rumor
sound's like it's likely to happen: Megadeth, Slayer, Testament and
High on Fire to tour North America. Unlike the previous rumor you
have 4 bands that will benefit or compliment each other one way or the
other. Plus Metallica and Anthrax suck (at least nowadays) so it's
hardly a loss. I think I would go, if it comes close and it's a
convenient day. What about u? |

I would almost die of happiness of those four bands toured together.
My preferred order would likely be different from most, though. I'd
actually want Testament to headline, Slayer getting the second most
time, HOF the third most (and they'd play some Sleep tunes to round
out the set!) with Megadeth opening.
While MD is my favorite of the four bands overall, they are not the
best live band. Sure they play well and all, but Dave's live vocals
are *horrible* and the rest of the band is set dressing. Testament
live is something out of this world, Slayer (when they're on) are
incredible, and the last two times I saw HOF they almost put me in a
trance with their sheer awesomeness.
....
And you're right, Metallica and Anthrax suck ;)

Well High On Fire would give me some bar time but the rest would be great.
Depends what sort of venues they play though...Testament are lost in arenas
whereas a band like Metallica pull them off consumately. Most thrash bands
are better suited to smaller venues in fairness. Have you seen Anthrax live
with Bush? I`d defy you to find a better live act! |

I'd gladly go to this. I don't really care about HOF or even Megadeth
anymore, but I'd always go see Slayer. Testament would be a bonus. |

I just saw, now Dave's complimenting the record company because the
new album is charting more than some of their older ones. (number of
weeks.) I am sort of surprised the album hasn't tailed off more, as
seems to be the usual case. Maybe it is because a lot of reviews have
been positive, and people are getting around to buying it. Still, Dave
seems sort of unstable on this, complaining a few weeks ago, and now
praising the record company?

I have seen them live, though not with Bush, and I enjoyed the show
a lot.
Anthrax/Helloween/Exodus (88 maybe?)
