Lenny Gomulka & Chicago Push did a super job last night at Burlington
Polish Hall, despite the media scare about the H1N1 flue? we had a
very nice crowd and ALL had a great time. Thanks to the DJ's and IJ's
for plugs on the air and to the fans that made it to the dance
(especially the ones that read this ng). Thank you Lenny, Kevin,
Dave, Matt, Johnny and Timmy. And thank you to my Tomciu for sitting
in with the Push on tubs during a polka medley (good job you 13 yr old
big kid).
Also a big thank you to my team last night: Johnny, Greggy, Robbie,
Tommy W., John F. (especially Robbie P. for driving inn from Syracuse
for one gig). Thank you to the sponsors and my family and friends for
your help with the dance.
Today we're playg "a black tie - continental dance" and Tommy Butash
(remember Tommy from the Pennsylvania Merry Makers?) will be on
accordion/keys. Tommy B. is a long time resident of Toronto now.
Enjoy your weekend folks. Dziekuje. John G.
ps: Our Ultimate Polka Cruise is still selling very well. Oficially,
we have no more balconies left but still have inside and outside
cabins. Balconies we can stil get on request. So come along and join
over 200+ guest that are coming on UPC IV from January 24 to 31st,
2010 on Carnival's GLORY ship from Miami, FL.
Tks. JG\

Tomek Gora impressed all of the young musicians when he sat in playing
drums with the Chicago Push. It was just a couple of years ago when he
could only play an oberek ... now listen to him go on polkas too.
John, if I knew he was that polished I would have asked him to sit in
on each set. Tomek you rock! Thank you for helping us. Keep it up.
Sincerely
Your Buddy,
Lenny Gomulka
