Who wrote this???
It's fucking brilliant....it reads like a quasi-parody that I would
do.
"Modern progressive rock bands took on heavily stylized and niche-
filling sounds, as opposed to classic progressive rock, where all the
bands basically sounded like they were high."
The most perfect description of progressive rock, ever. |

The "turn your ten four-minute songs plain rock album into a Prog album" thing
at the end got me some seriouls ROFL. |

Yeah, that's awesome. I can easily imagine the beautiful album finale
"An Unremarkable Dong".

Only a true fan (as opposed to fanboi) could come up with something
like that.
He cheekiness is proof he understands the ridiculous aspects of the
genre. |

The mother says now baby boy
You're gonna have to choose
There's good and evil, love and greed
And they're all inside of you
And just as sure as gravity
No one escapes this law
'Cause there's just one way
That we can stand
Too many ways to fall

"The concept album is a staple of progressive rock. Examples range from Pink
Floyd's Animals (about the evils of capitalism) to Rush's 2112 (about the
virtues of capitalism), and Uriah Heep's Demons and Wizards(elves and
shit)."
