Hi Folks,
It's no secert that Mid-Michigan and the Metro Detroit has more then
their fair share of talented polka bands. While some of the might not
be "household names" in the polka field or travel out of the state (No
disrespect intended at all). These bands listed below could hold their
own, as the old saying goes, against any band in the nation.
With that being said:
Each and every Sunday at the historic Silver Derby Bar in Crump, MI.
(Just minutes from Bay City) A true small town, with one stop light,
in every sense of the word. Polka fans flock every Sunday to hear the
below polka bands at (no spam) The Silver Derby. Music is from 4-8 and admission
is FREE!!! Plus not to mention, very reasonable prices on their
dinners and a beer goes for $1.50. They have a large wooden floor for
dancing.
As far as these very talented and popular bands, they rotate through
out the Sundays. Those bands are:
THE NATURAL TONES (TNT) / "Ron Nowaczyk & Benny Prill aka "The Hall of
Fame Connection" / The Lake Towne Sound / The Starlight's polka band
featuring members from The Steve Drzewicki Band / Dick Hedrich & Sons
