Don't let your words come out too soon
You beat yourself up
So don't spend a day, hey, waiting for me

I know he walked out on you
Hey, but that's in the past
You see you don't have a leg to stand on
You are just fooling yourself again

No prog rock could save the *fragile* planet and world war 3 began in
2011. Hang on to them sacred scriptures, them credential songs; your
passport to heaven.

1-Prog rock, nor any other music for that matter, will save this or
any planet from it's course.
2-No hippy, no matter how much weed he smokes can predict when the
next world war will be.
3-What sacred scriptures are you talking about? Oh, you mean Darwin's
theories or something?
4-WTF is a "credential song" because nobody on THIS planet can ever
understand your druggie babbling.
5-There is no heaven and if there was, a fucking Yes song won't help
your ass get in dummy.

Isn't this the same youtube video which was posted here awhile back?
Strange that this blurb on billboard reads as if Dunnery and Brislin
are in the picture - didn't they part company with The Syn?

I've not bought the record - I thought I would if there was a strong
recommendation from the a.m.y crowd but I've not heard much about it
here. They have some sound samples on Amazon but it sounds like not
alot of singing from Dunnery and Brislin. If Dunnery handled the
singing more I think I'd be more interested.

The Syn press releases are notorious.

I personally think it's a fantastic record...better in many ways than
_Syndestructible_.

most of the singing is done by the singer...but there are backing vox,
the best backing work being done by Dorie Jackson.

Dunnery handled the production, so it seems safe to presume that he
put what he felt was the appropriate amount of his vox on the record.

I was disappointed. Brislin is barely used at all. Dunnery's influence
is apparent and welcome, but he tends to leave the vocals to Nardelli.
So, a good band, but they don't do as much with the raw material as
Stacey/Johnson/Squire did on _Syndestructible_.

It's a matter of taste, I think it is as good if not better than
Syndestructible, although I would like to have heard Squire on this.
Nardelli writes great songs and I like the way he has moved in a
different direction with Big Sky using a new line up of stella
musicians. I'm keen to see what he comes up with next as for sure he
is a very progressive thinker.
I like his vocals too.
