Never heard of em until I caught them by chance on That Metal Show while
flipping through channels.
Eddie Trunk really sucked up to them. Some guy who had produced a movie
about them came out and talked them up. So I thought, "Dang, what have I
been missing?"
Anvil played two songs and to be honest they sounded like shit. OK, maybe
they had an off night. So I visited their YouTube channel. Even the studio
tracks they had available to stream sounded like shit.
So, why do I read all over the web how great they are, and how they should
have made it big? This crap was pathetic; unlistenable.

Bands like Metallica and Guns N Roses swear by them, but I'm with you,
they suck. I don't get why the sudden interest in them. Eddie Trunk is
a pussy, so of course he's sucking up to them. I'm not a fan of That
Metal Show. He spends too much time kissing ass rather than asking
good, in depth questions.
