Isn't it "that metal show". I don't really like it because they have
a too "expansive" allowance for what is or is not metal. And then
their "metal Mania" show? After trying to watch it one day and it was
2-3 songs that, in my opinion, the bands themselves wouldn't claim to
be "metal" bands. I gave up.

Yea it is called "that metal show" but I don't know what you are
talking about otherwise. I've only watched the show when Heaven and
Hell and now Halford have been on it, but it's a talk show not a video
show, so I'm not sure what 2-3 songs you are talking about. You
should really click the actual link sometimes... it's like they say,
read the fucking article before you comment, well in this case, click
the fucking link! I mean it in the nicest way possible, of course.

If you looked, you would see I mentioned "metal mania" which is
another show they (VH-1) has. It's not very metal, though. Flooded
with crap that is hardly metal.

for it much, though.

Here's where e. would post "why in God's name would you watch a show
you don't like?"

Glutton for punishment. I guess, I keep hoping they'll have some
underground band on.

I feel the same way and I really cant stand Eddie Trunk or his fellow
host on the show. They think they are funny and they aren't. Then
again how would I know since I have basically no sense of humor
whatsoever.

I think we can all agree the show is not the greatest. I don't hate
Eddie Trunk, I don't think I really have an opinion of him other than
he is a Priest fan and has them on anything metal related he is
involved with as much as possible. At any rate, it's not something I
would watch normally but hey Halford was on it and it's a streaming
video so why not? Since I take it you guys won't watch it, he said
something kind of interesting: Painkiller is one of the easiest songs
for him to sing. Hardest was Beyond the Realms of Death.

I guess it PK would be an easy song for him to sing since he butchers
it completely now, so it doesn't matter how he sings it.

it's a good show, they talk mainstream bands(what do you expect). they
have had slayer members on(just this past week) and anthrax members, so
they do push some heavier stuff. jim florentine is very funny imo, the
other guy, i still have no idea who he is and trunk is fine.

i am with you tom, i would like to see more metal videos on MM. i did
see PwyP by Testament last week(don't think i ever saw that video), and
Holy Wars by MD(they do play alot of MD but not that vid), so they at
least mix some in.

No, in this case, the humor isn't funny. I just don't see Eddie
Trunk going to a show, and getting in the pit and kicking ass. "his
fellow host", guess that shows what sort of impact he adds to the
show.

Yeah, it's not that good because for every one good video, you have
to sit through 2-3-4 bad ones. I rarely see it though. Maybe it's
better when I am not watching.

I don't know if his humor comes off in that metal show, but some of
his telemarketing recordings, where he waits for telemarketers to call
him and terrorizes them is funny.

My friend has a cd of his telemarketing stuff, I thought it was

There's another guy who's recorded telemarketers calling him, and he
plays jokes on them, and I thought it's pretty funny, Tom Mabe, I
believe is his name.
