I knew a new one was coming out, but hadn't really bothered to look

Played this tonight, reminds me of early WASP a bit more than recent stuff
although it`s pretty short when you take away the two covers. Been playing
the debut Raven`s Creed album as well, reckon a few in here would like
it...has the Orange Goblin singer with Fraser Craske and an ex Iron Monkey
and Cerebral Fix guitarist. Sounds like a cross between early Venom and
Motorhead. |

The WASP also reminds me of the earlier stuff, to the extent I think
they have recycled some old riffs. At one point I thought they had
done a re-recording of their old stuff. It's a lot better than their
recent output.

The Raven's Creed album is brilliant, can't believe I didn't already
have this. I can hear the Venom and Motorhead influences, however I
think the band sound influenced by the sum of their parts, it's like a
doom/hardcore/thrash crossover. |

they're doing now)

bend to this, and lo and behold there's an Icke book recommended in
the liners. Weird coincidence)
Hidden Hand - Mother Teacher Destroyer
Hidden Hand - Devoid of Color (I listened to this whole ep at work and
don't remember a thing. I remember this bieng kind of a throwaway
release anyway, initailly being a dual disc with some video bs on the
other side, and then being packaged in the deluxe version of the 3rd
full length)
Sleep - Volume 1 (almost saw om the other night, but cash is low, and
Hakius is out for the dude from grails, wtf? apparently thats the
lineup on the newest lp too)

Joy Division - Heart and Soul 4xCD Box
Killing Joke - What's THIS for

He played in goal for Coventry IIRC and when he retired became a TV football
pundit...before going mental. I remember him being interviewed by Wogan
saying he was the son of God and that the world was run by lizard people.
The audience were in hysterics. Keep meaning to read some of his stuff, if
nothing else it sounds a laugh.
Haha he had on a green shell suit thing if I remember correctly.
Wasn't there some reason he chose to wear that? |

yeah that pretty much sounds right. I'm reading the "guide to the
worldwide conspiracy (and how to end it)" which I picked up since it
looked like some bugged out robert anton wilson conspiracy lit, but
instead its nutso new age shit feeding into crazy conspiracy shit,
although based on the research I've done it seems like the crazy
conspiracy shit came before the nutso new age shit and that's like his
new thing he's using to attempt to back up his theories. Definitely
worthy of a few incredulous chuckles at the least. |
