How's that a problem with you. I thought you loved Death metal.

It isn't. I said Legion Of The Damned is the only one I liked. Probably
due
to them sounding more DM.

I guess I misunderstood what you were stating. What newer Thrash
bands is it that you don't like?

Tom

Stuff like Municipal Waste, Evile, Warbringer, Mantic Ritual, Gama Bomb
etc. They just don't click for me.

I like all of them. I find Legion of the Damned quite boring. Are we still
"super" on lastfm?!

It's becoming almost predictable.

A bunch of stuff that's new to me recently:

Agrypnie - Exit , F51.4
Secrets Of The Moon - Antithesis
Morrah - Sense Of Brutality
Storhet Av Morke - Grandeur Of Eternal Cold
Nomans Land - Farnord
Mystic Prophecy - Fireangel
Rebellion - Miklagard: The History Of The Vikings Part 2
Rebellion - Arise - From Ginnungagap To Ragnarök - The History Of The
Vikings Part 3

A few things to check out here...I`ve only heard a couple of those bands
before. I remember being un-impressed with Secrets of the Moon but it was
a few years back I heard them, Nomans Land I heard the debut by and it
was fairly decent...not sure I know any of the rest. I`ve been digging
around a bit today as well and listened to these...

Nekrogoblikon - Goblin Island - one of the stupidest things I`ve heard in
ages but actually quite good...if you`re in a silly mood!

I thought this was the best thing on your list. Downloading it now.

No one is seeding this, so I'm out of luck there. There's probably one a
couple of people on earth who actually bought it. I may have to add to that
number. I downloaded two albums by Pathology last night. They're just noisy
Grind, but I actually liked it. I also got Iskald - Revelations Of Reckoning
Day ( good production Black Metal that was alright), and Velnias - Sovereign
Nocturnal (described as Blackened Folk/Doom). Quite the overload this long
weekend.

I'll check out the WASP even though I haven't liked anything from them since
KFD. I like one Winterfylleth ( that I believe you recommended or pointed
out), I'll look for this other one. The Gorgoroth is different . It's not
bombastic in your face Black Metal like the previous ones. It's pretty laid
back, but I don't mind it. I really liked their last three. Rebellion is
Power Metal with rougher vocals. I checked it out since it features former
members of Grave Digger. They're not too different form Grave Digger either.
A few minutes ago I finally finished downloading the current E-Force album
(Modified Poison). It's the band from the last Voivod singer (Eric Forrest).
It's straighforward Metal stuff in the vein of Negatron. The 2 Voivod albums
with him on vocals are the only 2 I like. The stupid thing took like 3 weeks
to finish downloading. I hate torrents.

Screwed by the "special release" again.

I bought it on release day and got the making of DVD. You`re not missing
anything with that to be honest. In fairness, if they`d released a stand
alone live DVD it would have been the same price so if you want it look at
is a new DVD with a bonus CD of a CD you already have!

True. But I don't see buying it anytime soon. Maybe if the original
CD disappeared somehow.

I can understand this.

I just thought it sounded really boring, perhaps I wasn`t in the mood for
