need I say more? Yes :)
yep, the new Weird Al tune "Ringtone" is a stylistic pastiche to
Queen. The intro's actually pretty good, reminiscent of "Don't Stop Me
Now" (the bassist nailed John's playing style). The rest of the song is
more Al than Queen, but it does feature a good ol' college try at doing
Brian's guitar orchestration stuff.
(hint to Al - if you had asked, Brian may have gladly come by and done
the orchestration stuff for you. Now wouldn't that have rocked!)
worth checking out.
