If your reading this article chances are, you have heard about the
latest giants on the horizon, online drum machines. In a moment I'm
going to point you in the direction of the program that has been
deemed the best out of all online drum machines on the market today,
but first let's talk about the benefits these programs present.
Now I myself have been making beats for about 7 years now, and without
a doubt my biggest problem has been trying to stay up to date with my
equipment and software. I bought a KORG Triton, used, for $2,190, and
the next year the sounds had been so over used through out the
industry the thing was useless to me. No one wanted the "Triton sound"
anymore.
But that's the beauty of online drum machines. They're super
inexpensive, with sounds that rival any competition. And they're so
easy to use. There are functions on my Triton that I've never even
learn how to use, because the manual is written in a language for
engineers.
Even with Fruity Loops, it's almost as if you would have had to have
known how to use the very first one in order to be able to fully
comprehend the most recent one. And simple things like that leave the
average, up and coming beat maker at a great disadvantage.
But online drum machines are leveling the playing feild. But it is
important to pick the right one. Some online drum machines sound as
cheap as they are, and the whole point should be, to make beats that
meet the industries "standard", without having have an industry
budget.
