bagged a couple of standing tickets for me and wifey at the NEC... oh yes!
Damn Ticketmaster website was giving me the heebeegeebees at first,
when it kept saying there weren't any standing tickets found... trick
was to search for 'unreserved' rather than 'best available'. Obvious,
eh?

There is no "unreserved" in the drop-down for the MEN arena.
I think they all wwent in the pre-sales - seriously pissed off!

Result! I remember missing out on good tickets for the Exciter tour,
and we were meeting friends at the venue who all had standing tickets
(we were right up on the back). I tried a tout to see how much he
wanted for a pair of standing tickets, and he told be £50 each, at
which point I politely laughed and went to walk off, saying that I only
had £50 in total. I hadn't gone very far when he just went "OK, £50 the
pair". I even managed to offload my seated tickets to another tout
further along for a tenner!

The standing tickets mean I cna go wih my mate and be one of the sad gits
sitiing outside for 3 hours before the doors open so we can get to stand at
