Hey gang,
I have been trying to find out which of Alabama's albums (at
least I believe it is Alabama) contains Louisiana Saturday Night. I
know Don Adams had an earlier version, also not easy to find) but I
would like a copy of the one made famous by Alabama.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks. |

I have it. Also have it by Mel McDaniel, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Boxcar
Willie, Alabama and Charlie Daniels.
Take Care

Hi, I was just passing through. I remember Mel Tillis singing the
song on TV once. It may have been on a Jerry Lewis telethon. This
could have been a remote from Branson or somewhere. Anyway, I don't
know if Mel ever recorded the song himself. One time I entered a
talent show. Another competitor, a girl, sang this song. Neither of us
won. This is my home state.
Sincerely,
Darren Thornton |
