Add to all that the diminishing profit margins seen at the venues, since
patrons now have take even greater care to limit their drinking before
driving.
Now, also the fact that with the smoking bans spreading through the
world, more and more folks are simply not going out any more.
With this pressure on venues' budgets, it's no wonder that venue owners
have to hire cheaper and lower quality acts and put up the cover charges. |
